Team Trivia hosts Event on Wednesdays at McCray’s Tavern

It’s time to bring your thinking caps to the table because the Atlanta chapter of Team Trivia is hosting events on Wednesday nights here at McCray’s West Village Tavern.

• The event will be hosted in the back room and try to get up here by 8pm to claim your seat.
• Use your knowledge to win house cash prizes of $40.00, $20.00, and $10.00 to the three best team.
• We will be having $5 Three Olive Martini’s as our special for this event.

Try All 45 Beers

Yes, it’s that time of the year.  Seasonal brews and football is here.

We are about to update with a new Game Day menu and we have a competition amongst the regulars that encourage them to “Drank the Wall” .  So what does this mean?

Next time your at McCray’s West Village Tavern ask about getting a punch card with 45 punches for every beer we have on tap  (*warning* do not attempt this in one sitting). The winner that makes it through all 45 beers will be given an honorary plaque in their name to go on the restaurant wall.

To add some variety to the mix, Scott McCray has given me word that he will be switching out microbrews regularly from all over the world on a regular basis.

Two new microbrews are available right now:

1) We switched out SweetWater Blue for  SweetWater Sch’Wheat Ale.  Click on the link for more information on this all American wheat ale.

2)  Abita Restoration Pale Ale is available for the fall season.  Abita gives a proceed of it’s sales to hurricane Katrina victims so it’s the indulgence you can feel good about.

Dynamic Duo, Michael and Eddie Dillinger from Dillinger Media Studios will be on site this evening with a netbook and a high definition digital camera.  We are looking to add to our flickr and facebook photo gallery and want to reward our loyal customers by showing the world why our neighborhood bar and grill is Smyrna’s favorite.  The rules are simple:

• Picture will be taken of a table of two or more
• The theme will be a toast to friends and good times
• We will then let you log in to your account on facebook and become a fan of McCray’s to participate
